Location Data: Precise coordinates (GPS) to share with your trusted contacts.
Contact List: Names and numbers of people you manually designate as Trusted Contacts.
Important Disclosure on Background Location:
This app collects location data to enable real-time tracking for your trusted contacts during an emergency, even when the app is closed or not in use. This is a core safety feature.
2. Use of Sensitive Permissions
To function as an emergency tool, the app requires:
Notification Policy Access: Used exclusively to bypass "Do Not Disturb" mode so your emergency siren can be heard by your family.
Background Location: Used to ensure your family can find you if you trigger an alert while your phone is in your pocket.
3. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties or advertisers. Your location is only visible to the specific individuals you have added as "Trusted Contacts" during an active alert session.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
You have full control over your data. You can delete your account or remove trusted contacts at any time within the app settings. Deleting your account removes all associated data from our Firebase servers.
5. Security
We use Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption to protect your data from unauthorized access.
